to write this all out now before i forget it, the words already falling away from me so soon after it happend.

there was an interview. the interview came after dinner which came after scanning inprints for an artist, the mother of my friend, who sculpts stone. the scanning went well, the art digitized, and the chinese food bland (though thankfully not greasy). the dinner, rushed. the interview, late.

Remind me next time to bring my resume to those interview things. I spoke rather poorly and rambled about design process, spoke with the director a bit, and basically did not say anything intelligent. It's ok, I'm not too worried, and I told them I would help out in any way I could with the production. I hear back in acouple of weeks I suppose.

drifting off now.

just before the interview realized that there was a party tonight in the neighborhood where i happened to be. post-interview, headed over, scooting around the back of the building and standing outside, leaning against the chain link fence, acting the role of impartial observer to the young men rapping, the crowd around them, and the kids going into the party.

i saw a friend there. she was dancing and suggested that i come in too. i was just going to stay against the fence. i was going to stand away, but I saw her, and decided to take a chance.

long story short. dancing. talking. big circle of clapping. disabled veterans dancing to techno. after-party at a house. drugs and more spinning. ended the morning massaging erica's hands, her legs on my lap, her head in craig's chest.

still awake. must sleep before work. hour and a half nap.
