I thought it rather appropriate, given the state of the Internet today and all that, that in this morning's Globe, in the technology section, I had read the page on all of the companies receiving their venture funding and whatnot, I saw that piece and turned the page to find

Obituaries and death notices.

The irony was not lost on me, let me tell you.

So I missed my window today. That golden opportunity. My building has laundry and I like this very much because it means that on this day, when it's unseasonably cold (for any other city except for Boston) and raining and I've got sniffles from walking home in the rain where the wind blew my umbrella inside out, I don't have to go outside to do my laundry which I need to do because I'm to that part where you have to worry about starting to smell the pile of dirty clothese just in case you have to dig in there for tomorrow's underwear.

So I was doing my laundry, but this building only has one washer and dryer, and while I was up here writing email or some such thing, someone was down in the basement and snaked the washer out from under me. Snaked! Which means that I have to wait for his load of laundry to finish before I can do my second load. Which sucks. This really sucks.

I am incredibly tired right now. On many many levels I am tired. Work has crushed my spirit. It is rainy and I am sick because of it. I have not gotten very good sleep lately. And I have to stay up because that bastard snaked the dryer out from under me.

I did stick to my deadline and I wrote another piece for storytime . I rock. Setting deadlines for myself was hard. But I did it. Yeah.

I'm tired. I suck. More later.
